Yes, you can make a reservation through our online booking system. However, the minimum reservation for a bicycle is a day rental. That being said, we have over 60 bikes available to rent in our shop and we rarely sell out, even on our busier Summer days. Bikes are always going out and coming back in throughout the day.
Electric bicycles are much more popular and we have a limited supply. We encourage reservations on all of our electric bicycles, we will take note of your height to ensure we have the correct size.
Yes, you can book through our reservation system. However, we have a very large selection of standard bicycles. The minimum reservation for a bicycle is a day. If you are planning on going for a shorter ride, there is a very good chance you can swing by the shop and we will have bicycles available to rent. Most of our equipment is available first thing in the morning, so plan your pick-up before lunch to guarantee a bike.

We cannot deliver equipment to your hotel. We require that the renter, and if applicable, the passenger are present at the time of rental to fill out contracts. While you are at the shop we can outfit you with proper fitting riding gear, and make any adjustments to the bike so you can have the best experience possible.
We do not have late night drop offs. We require that a Cycle BC employee is present to check you in, and to perform a thorough inspection of the equipment. We also want to ensure that you have had a great trip!

We do not offer one-way rentals on our bicycle rentals.
Motorcycles: We require that you are at least 21 years of age to rent. If you are under 21 please contact Cycle BC and under certain circumstances you may be able to rent.
Scooters & Bicycles: In order to rent you need to be at least 19 years of age.

All you need to rent a bicycle is a credit card and a piece of ID. We provide you with the bike, helmet, and maps!

The old expression "if you don't like the weather, wait 5 minutes" is true on the West Coast of British Columbia. Often days can start out with rain and be sunny and dry by the afternoon.
We do understand that not everyone wants to get wet, if it is raining 2 hours before your rental. Please give us a call and we can reschedule or refund your rental.
Please arrive 15 minutes in advance so we can fill out waiver forms, fit helmets and size bicycles.
Absolutely! It is the law in British Columbia to wear a helmet while riding a bicycle. We provide a helmet free with a rental, and it must be worn.
We do not provide parking at our Victoria location. Street parking is available, but that is only for a maximum of one and a half hours.
The closest and most affordable parkade is the Broughton Street Parkade, located one block away, accessible by Courtney st. or Broughton st.

You can cancel your booking for a full refund 24 hours prior to your rental. Due to limited supply during our busy months, no refund is available within 24 hours of your rental.
